Self Portrait Final

I tried to make myself look at least a little interesting and different for this photo (as if the mohawk and the size wasn't enough). I think the graphic t-shirt and the pose worked out in that aspect. I tried to eliminate the shadows for this particular photo. The shine is still there, but for the most part I was successful. I do think the photo could've been zoomed out a bit, but the photo still works, in my opinion.

This version of me is definitely the silly one. The original plan for the pose was to use the stool, but I couldn't get comfortable enough to effectively do the pose. This photo is the one I edited the least. The lighting was nice enough to mostly get rid of the wrinkles in the background. There really aren't any shadows or standout lights in the photo. I did my best to make sure I wasn't dead center in this photo (because I really wanted to show the leg in the pose).

I wanted this photo to be more serious in this one, with darker settings (which shows the wrinkles in the background, but the editing decreased those) and a wardrobe change. I do think I could've exposed the photo and decreased the aperture, but I was able to capture the emotion I wanted in the photo with the settings I had more effectively.

Headshot Plan

1. I will use two light sources with reflectors.
2. I will use constant light only.
3. I won't need any PocketWizards for what I am trying to do.
4. I will position the lights so that I can create a catch light.
5. I will probably use a smaller lens so that I can get closer to the face.
