Motion Preview

Motion Preview

1. In order to catch the movement of an action within the photo.
2. With slow shutter speed, have the subject move or have the camera move.
3. In order to set the perfect shutter speed for a particular movement.
4. Small apertures, decreased ISO, or a neutral density filter

5. Between 1/60 and 1/15
6. So that the subject can stay in focus while blurring out the rest.
7. You can get a better panning shot instead of having to guess when the perfect opportunity is.
8. It keeps focus on moving objects and adjusts the focus to make the subject clear.
9. It keeps fast-moving subjects in focus for you as they move closer or further away.
10. So that you don't have to refocus when you let go of the shutter.
11. You have to hold down the AF-ON button instead of just tapping it when using AI Servo mode.

Stock Photography and Legal Issues

Stock Photography and Legal Issues

1. A model release is a form signed by any person in a photo in order to be able to use the photo for commercial uses.
2. Keywords help you to narrow down the photos that you can use and ultimately pick the right one for whatever the goal is.
3. You should be careful with brand names because they can sue you if you don't have permission to use that brand within the photo.
4. You should save space in case of the need for text or headlines within the photo.
5. They don't have to pay any money to use the image, and the image is easy to find.
6. If the image you used is good, someone else probably used the image as well.
7. Rights Managed photos
8. Royalty Free is for everyone while Rights Managed means you probably won't see the same photo on another website.
9. I never thought about people in the background of a photo, like through a window.
10. I was interested because I was wondering if I had to make them sign a release, too.

Still Life Preview

Still Life Preview

1. Fruit, Plants, and Pottery
2. Some of the main factors are lighting, background and composition.
3. Aperture Priority can place all the focus on one object or bring all the objects into focus for different compositions
4. The small aperture can help bring focus to certain details or change the way an object is viewed.

Stock Photography

1.
2. I could take pictures of certain locations in Austin, like the capital or 6th Street.
3. Companies, which can be used for advertising, websites, or other types of media.
4. There can be a lot of money by shooting stock photography.

Still Life Shoot Planning

1. One likely subject that I could do is a small action figure among other things.
2. Probably a black or a white background to evoke emotions with something simple.
3. Possibly an adventure or a lonely feeling (depending on how many subjects I use).
